Demo Overview

Meet Violet, an AI-powered customer service assistant ready to take your order. This cloud-based avatar is built using the NVIDIA Tokkio reference application framework to enable interactive avatars to see, perceive, converse intelligently and provide recommendations to enhance customer service in places like restaurants.

In this demo get ready to engage with Violet, order food, change your order, and have fun! We encourage you to use natural, everyday phrases and see how quickly you get immersed in the experience.

Technology Used

NVIDIA Tokkio leverages Omniverse Avatar Cloud Engine (ACE), a suite of cloud-native AI models and services that make it easier to build and customize lifelike virtual assistants and digital humans. ACE is built on top of NVIDIA’s Unified Compute Framework, which provides access to the rich software tools and APIs needed to harness the wide range of skills needed for highly realistic, fully interactive avatars.

Featured AI Technologies

  • Animation AI: Omniverse Audio2Face simplifies animation of a 3D character to match any voice-over track, helping users animate characters for games, films or real-time digital assistants.
  • Conversational AI: Includes NVIDIA Riva for speech AI, allowing developers to quickly build and deploy cutting-edge applications that deliver high-accuracy and expressive voices.

How to Apply

To access the demo each user must apply for access by clicking the ‘Learn More’ button at the top of the page.

What to Expect

After applying for access:

  • Get the link. In the Tokkio Showcase EA program email, you would have been given a temporary unique URL which is exclusively for your use only.

  • Click the link. This URL will launch the Tokkio Web App and will expire in 1 or 2 hours for security purposes. It should not be shared.

For the best experience, please use Chrome browser on Windows or Mac.

  • Have fun & talk to Violet. Chrome will send a permission pop-up to use the microphone. Please click to allow permission. If the microphone icon on the app shows a muted sign in red, unmute it by clicking on it. The Mic icon should be green.

  • Begin to speak. Some examples of what you could say to the avatar:

    • I want a cheeseburger.
    • Add fried onions to it.
    • Remove cheeseburger.
    • Show me the drinks menu.
    • Give me lemonade
    • What salads do you have?

Disclaimers: This is a standalone demo and not tied to an actual food ordering system. Your conversation will be recorded to improve NVIDIA’s products and services.
